Roundtable: Questioning civilizational narratives in times of war in Ukraine

This second session of the DECRIPT seminar on Europe-Eurasia features a round table discussion with Alexandra Goujon (Lecturer at the University of Burgundy) and Anna Colin Lebedev (Lecturer at Paris Nanterre University) on their work on the war in Ukraine. By inviting these two teacher-researchers to discuss their research, the session aims to provide a better understanding of how national narratives and civilizational narratives differ and interact, and what scales of analysis and chronologies are available for their studies. Emphasis will also be placed on conducting field research in the context of war and on how war has changed research practices and increased media demands on the research community.
