CIENS offers all PSL students, regardless of their main course of study, two PSL-Weeks during the year.
Each PSL-Week offers concentrated teaching over 5 days, i.e. around 30 hours of teaching. The lectures are given by both academics (mainly CIENS research professors) and strategic practitioners. The PSL-Week in the first semester (end November) is devoted to new areas of conflict (cyber, outer space, information warfare). The second-semester PSL-Week (early March) is dedicated to major nuclear issues.
In parallel with the courses, students apply their new knowledge in the practice of a “Serious Game” (crisis simulation). To find out more about PSL Week in November 2025, click here.
