Career

Stéphanie Braquehais is a writer and communications specialist. A former journalist, she spent 20 years working on the African continent on a freelance basis, first in N’djaména, Chad, then in Nairobi, Kenya. She was a correspondent for most of the French media, including Radio France Internationale, France 24, Libération and Le Nouvel Obs.

She then worked as a communications specialist (event organization, external and internal communications) for a think-tank specializing in conflict and counter-terrorism, as well as for health NGOs.

After spending 20 years on the African continent, she returned to Paris to work at the Ecole Normale Supérieure as project manager for CIENS and the Chaire Espace.
