Eve Benhamou

Career

Eve Benhamou is a doctoral student in the History of International Relations at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. She is writing a thesis on French policy towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict between 2002 and 2017, under the supervision of Professor Frédéric Bozo. This work examines the process of marginalisation of the Palestinian question by France, as its capacity to influence the issue diminished as a result of the political and strategic upheavals in the region after 11 September 2001.

Eve Benhamou studied Political Science and the History of Islam and the Middle East at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She taught History at Sciences Po Aix (2022-2024) and at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (2019-2021).
