Laurent Prosperi is in charge of governance at ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information). A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and holder of a doctorate in computer science from Sorbonne University (2023), he carried out his research in collaboration with INRIA Paris. Alongside his work in computer science, he studied contemporary history and political science, first at ENS Paris-Saclay and then at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
His work is characterised by an interdisciplinary approach that aims to place techno-strategic issues, particularly those at the interface with digital and cyber technologies, in their socio-political and conflictual contexts; and, conversely, to study the evolution of the strategic framework under the influence of technical developments, uses and representations.
He is committed to nurturing the link between academic research and public administration. His involvement in the ‘Initiative Docteurs et Administrations’ illustrates his conviction that training through research and scientific production can feed public action. His own career path, which has taken him from academic research to responsibilities within ANSSI while contributing to CIENS, bears witness to this desire to bring these two worlds together.
